Users can schedule, edit, or dismiss patient visits on the participant’s profile screen. Scheduled visits include the Order Description, Visit Date, and Time, along with optional notes entered manually or via site-built templates. Once created, visits appear in the **Patient Visits** tab and on the calendar associated with the facility where the user was logged in. Existing visits can easily be modified or permanently dismissed directly from the patient’s profile.  Note - Users cannot Edit a patient visit to tie it to an already dispensed prescription. If the prescription was dispensed through Add New Prescription, then users can either void the prescription to process as the visit, or they can dismiss the visit. ### Editing a Patient Visit 1. Navigate to the **Protocol** 2. Click on the **Patients/Subjects Tab** 3. Locate the participant and click on the **MRN** 4. Click on **Patient Visits Tab** 5. Click on Edit 6. Make all modifications as appropriate 7. Click **Save**     ### Dismissing a Patient Visit Warning - Once a patient visit is dismissed, it cannot be brought back. Users will need to create a new patient visit.  1. Navigate to the **Protocol** 2. Click on the **Patients/Subjects Tab** 3. Locate the participant and click on the **MRN** 4. Click on **Patient Visits** Tab 5. Locate the visit and click **Dismiss** 6.
