[Address Book](https://vestigohelp.mccreadiegroup.com/en/knowledgebase/general?hsLang=en#address-book) September 25, 2026 # Adding New Contact Records Adding contacts to the address book allows sites to add contacts to protocol as certain roles, such as primary investigator or study coordinator. However, users accounts are also ties to contact records in the address book.  This article covers adding a Vestigo Site User, which is typically a pharmacy user. For Protocol specific users, please reference this article.   ### Permissions Needed **ContactsSearch** – Search for contacts in the address book **ContactAddEdit** - Add/Edit a contact.    ### Adding a New Contact Record 1. Navigate to the **Address Book** on the Vestigo home screen 2. In the Address Book, click **Add New Contact***.* 3. Enter the email address for the new user and click **Check Email**. 4. Enter the contact's first and last name 5. Add in additional details, like professional designation, as needed 6.
